8 Reasons why you should be dating a Nirmaiite

Nirma University, situated on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway, at the outskirts of Ahmedabad, is the oldest private University in Gujarat. The University also got featured in a ranking of one of India’s best engineering colleges in 2012, by the India Today group. Other than just being one of the most talked about and well respected universities in the state, Nirma also harbours some of the most eligible bachelors in town. So, here is a quick list on; why you should be dating a Nirmaiite and yes! I am single and a Nirmaiite. Just Saying!
  1. We can Adapt: Each one of us wishes of a date that’ll put up with all our tantrums and oblige to our moody indecisiveness and if there’s one thing, we can do amazingly well, then that is adapting. Be it, meeting up with crunching deadlines, pressure situations or last minute cancellations, we’ve seen it all. Chances of us getting annoyed by your unusual mood swings are rather bleak; the system’s tamed us quite well. So, if you’re looking for a no-nonsense date, then look no further amigos!
  2. We are Smart: Nirma, being one of the elite universities in the state, this one’s a give. The University harbours some of the sharpest brains across Gujarat, who’ve studied hard to beat the competition and rightfully secured a seat at the University. So, if brains are what you’re looking for in a date, then a Nirmaiite is a sure-shot way to go about it.
  3. The beautiful campus: If the lush green outspread and the calming serenity around the campus is anything to go by, then believe me! You’ll never run out off places to spend some quality time with your date and there’s always that added advantage of finding a spot next to the infamous lake on campus. Added precautions to stay away from our security guards are however highly prescribed with this one. So, if your date’s a sprinter, this could turn out to be quite fun than assumed.
  4. We are Loyal: The age old regiment that is much infamously criticized for being quite a pain, accompanied by a fiery letter back home, ensures that your date will never wander off during college hours. Yes, the 85% attendances rule! Making sure that your date will never cheat on you, since the poor sap will never find the time to, or even the need to after the 9 am to 4pm college hours. Funny, how things work out! Huh!
  5. We’ve got the Moolah: Not trying to rub it in or being atrociously arrogant, but, come on! If we can afford the much spoken of college fees during the recent times, then we sure can afford those hard to get-in restaurants and treat you to your fancies. So, if you’re one of those high-maintenance uptown dates, then a Nirmaiite is your perfect catch!
  6. We are Funny: That’s right! With the kind of strict regime and treacherous academic sessions that the university has to offer, it’s hard to find a Nirmaiite that hasn’t yet learned to laugh at his own miseries with a pinch of sarcasm. Sure, this could include many frequent references to the characters of The Big Bang Theory, whom we highly relate to; but then, at no point will we sound silly! So, if witty sarcasm is what attracts you in a date, then we will sure please you.
  7. No embarrassing gimmicks: Almost every campus in the city has been surrounded by some of the coolest coffee bars and other hangout spots, but these have amounted to many accidental encounters with relatives or your own family, but with a campus located almost to the exterior outskirts of the city, chances of you bumping into a relative with your date are scarcely low, saving an embarrassment of a lifetime.
  8. Ensured Future: Graduating from one of the premier institutes in the state, ensures not only alluring placement packages but also a bright future ahead. So, if you’re looking for a long term commitment, that suits the likes of your family as well, then a Nirmaiite is the one who might eventually save the day for you!

I consider Nirma as an Innovative university just coz of their cultural events, tech fest, robotics, etc.

I am also a big fan of Nirma's scenic beauty especially during Monsoon,Nd hate mess food.

    1. Err! Yes! I did miss out on Tapri. That's more like a "Nukkad" for us for our everyday cuppa of gossips galore, wouldn't wanna take my date there, with eveyone peeking through the University fence lines that is . LOL! Thank you Bhargav for the read, really appreciate your views and yes! Monsoons in Nirma are the best! :)
